365 Days of Bliss: Write On!
Good Sunday! It’s Keely here bringing you today’s bit of bliss from the Shoppe.
I’ve been scrapping a long time. Over the years I have come to embrace the notion of no rules, at least where layouts are concerned. I say do it the way that makes you happy. That being said, I am a huge proponent of journaling. Memory and feelings are fickle and nothing puts the “you” on your page like your own words. So I decided to go through the gallery and get your journaling juices flowing.
Here’s a beautiful page from taracotta7 that tugs at the heartstrings. I love the way her journaling reads like a letter.
On the next page neeceebe did a fantastic job by working her journaling into the page design so it’s not just an add on but an integral part of the page. Great font choice too. I admire any time that a scrapper puts something so real and personal into their scrapbook.
The page is so cute, love the retro picture, it called to me from the gallery. Then Kristijoy really put a smile on my face. When I got to the journaling I realized that this is really about a girl and memories of her dad. Well done!
I think this scenic page by Tanyiadeskin is so clever because she uses historical facts and information in her journaling. As soon as I read it, I asked myself why I haven’t done more of that. It’s a great idea, I’ll be taking a cue from her in the future.
This is tanyiadeskin again. Not only does she pour her heart out she does something that I so appreciate, she adds her journaling into the description in the gallery. This is a raw and powerful page.
Finally, I chose this page by Paula because she proves that journaling doesn’t have to be a mega endeavor to be great. In the mix of a few sentences taking on the who, what and why, the reader understands exactly why this friendship is special.
Thanks a bunch for spending a few minutes with us today. I hope you enjoyed the inspiration and will give a little thought to adding more of the “write stuff ” to your own pages.
