Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

Hi Everyone!

Today is another week for us to get to know one another! But first, we are so happy everyone has been enjoying clicking and finding the winning “Click-a-Siggy” blinkie all the Sweet Shoppe staff have been sporting!Dont forget the winning blinkie changes everday and this goes until February 28th so there will be more goodies!

How is everyone’s week so far? Im sure most of us are so looking forward to the weekend! I am so swamped with work this week so I am DYING to get some scrapping done!

To kick off our-looking-forward-to-the-weekend celebration, I have FUN question for all of you today!

If you were a man, which SugarBabe or SSD designer would you want to take out on a date? Why? Where will you take her?

I asked some fellow Babes and designers the same question just to get the ball rolling, and it was interesting to know their answers:

Sugarbabe Karen wanted to meet Laura Deacetis. It is interesting to know that Karen has first known Laura ever since her first days into digiscrapping with ScrapMommies. It doesnt help that Laura cute preggo belly has made Karen wanting another baby too ::D She would treat her to a massage and a manicure and pedicure session because as she said: “Hey, all expectant mothers deserved to get their piggies pampered!”

Sugarbabe Sandra said:
“I would totally date Darla. She can attest to the fact that I have been stalking her for well over a year now anyway. It would be such a relief to finally come out of the closet with my obsession!”

Sugarbabe Sue said:
“mmm, thats a tough one… Id just be happy to be going out on a date! But thats not helping the cause so…..Ill go for Shawna….she calls it as it is, knows how to handle the male species (could be advantageous) and has a great balance of warmth and humour!”

Robin said:
“I’d pick Mandy for a date actually… She’s a rad scrapper, always makes me laugh and I think she’s HOT!”

Well, for me, I’d totally pick Teresa Ferguson out on a date. When I was first getting involved with the digital community, I was always awed with all of T’s layouts (even up to now actually) and was sooo very flattered (and encouraged to make more) when T actually left love on my layouts! She was also the first scrapper to leave a comment on my blog and even offered a kit from the shoppe when I was not able to buy anything from the shoppe because we (from the Philippines) did not have PayPal then – SSD now takes credit cards and we now have PayPal! LOL. Did you also know that she is a PhD student? Now, how can a woman be a PhD student, be a great designer, have time for the preparation of her wedding and still have time to scrap awesome layouts and not be labelled superwoman? 😀 I’d love some tips T! *wink* Where will I take her out? Somewhere we can eat cake! LOL.

Plus, if I can see somebody from the SSD go out on a date and I can be paparazzi, it would be Manda and Robin! Those two are such an amazing combo of creativity, fun and wackiness! Can you tell I want inside scoop on what goes behind the scenes? 🙂
