Hi everyone this is Jacq bringing you today’s 365 days of bliss post 🙂

When we found out we were having another daughter I was so excited, I’ve always wanted to have girls I was so happy that I was blessed with two. I was a little worried about how my eldest would handle it once the baby is born, she’s been the center of attention for over four years and now she has to share the limelight with her sister and I wasn’t sure how she’d take it. Now five months after our baby girl was born, we’re all doing great. My eldest adjusted well to being a big sister, she’s actually a huge help to me and I love that she enjoys being around her sister. She likes to make her laugh and the little one loves to look at her big sis making funny faces and dancing around for her.

Of course there are times when I feel like the baby takes up a lot of my time that she big sister doesn’t get the attention she also deserves but I’m doing my best to have some sort of balance. We do have our dates, just the two of us and she loves that. We’d spend an afternoon at the mall to watch a movie, pick up a few toys or a book, hang out in the library and other fun things that we could do together. I think it’s fun for both of us. I’ve also taken both the girls out just the three of us, I was a little scared at first thinking I couldn’t handle it but after a while I got use to it. It is actually great, I can only look forward to better things and more wonderful adventures for us.
