CU Flower Centers by Clever Monkey Graphics brings you a set of 12 high-quality flower centers that are perfect for digital scrapbook designers and creative crafters alike. These succulents are carefully created to give you crisp, clean results in your projects, whether you’re designing a full digital scrapbook kit, building element packs, or adding realistic texture to your layouts. Each center was extracted from my own photos. Edge is then adjusted as necessary with a further brush and sharpening is applied if needed.

Best practices in using flower centers would include adding both a drop shadow and and outer glow in a darker color than the flower. Set both to a setting such as multiply, color burn, or linear burn and then drop the opacity according to the flowers' needs. The outer glow which we turn into a shadow sets the center INTO a flower as if the petals are reacting to the center's weight vs just sitting on top of a flower. I like it best when combined with a dropshadow. My instructions refer to Photoshop so if you use a different program, you will have to find your own similar way if you want this look.
