Memory Lane Monday – Digilicious Design 12/28
We’re taking a walk down Memory Lane today with Digilicious Design and it’s all about her design style! She’s been with the SSD crew for over a year now and her designs just keep getting better & better. I asked her for a little designing bio…how she got started to where she is now, and this is what she had to say:
I’m a work-from-home mum to 2 boys, who have just finished Grades 1 & 3. We recently moved to the Glasshouse Mountains in Queensland, Australia and bought a beautiful house on a large block of land.
Like many designers, I was a paper-scrapbooker, moved to digital when my first child was born, then eventually began designing about 8 years ago. I was completely honored to join the fabulous team at Sweet Shoppe Designs well over a year ago now, and I have never been happier in my design career. I’m so lucky to finally have my own office in our new home, which I have set up so that I can easily paint, draw, scrap and design – and each activity has it’s own space so I don’t even need to pack up one mess before I start another!!
I’ve spent the past few months concentrating on streamlining and improving my work flow. Now that this is ‘officially’ my full-time job, I want to give it all the respect and time it deserves, and consistently produce gorgeous stuffs. Of course, I could never love a job more than I love this one, but I still need to stay organised!
Here’s some older previews of hers…
And some of her designs that are currently available in the Shoppe…
Isn’t her style so versatile? I love that she can create a bright, cheery kit 1 week and then a gross, Halloween-inspired kit the next. I can’t imagine how hard it is to switch like that but she does a wonderful job. Like I said before, her products get better & better. Don’t forget to grab her FWP kit by Thursday night. A new featured designer will be on the blog Friday morning!
