Featured Staffer 2/12 – Lauren Grier
I am so happy to present our featured staffer this week as none other than Lauren Grier. La was one of the very first designers that I have ever worked with on a creative team level. My love for La runs deep and I think not only is she an amazing designer; she is also an amazing woman. Her personality just shines through to everything she does.
La has been scrapping since November of 2005 and has been designing just as long. For her, the two went hand in hand. Her first kit was “Dirty Boy” and she claims it was horrific. See exhibit A of her self-proclaimed horrendous-ness here. La went as far as to create a layout with her first kit as seen here. I do have to say that I admire designers that scrap with their own stuff. 🙂 As you can tell by checking out her store recently, La’s kits have evolved. You can find her kits in her shoppe at the Sweet Shoppe and her main gallery is also located there at SSD.
La currently designs and scraps with PSE & Illustrator CS4. The drawing tools are very important to La and quite evident in her kits.
