Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

Hey everyone! It’s that time of the week where some lucky scrapper gets the honor of being Sweet Shoppe Designs “Layout of the Week”!

The layout I’ve chosen this week was one that I believe isn’t the norm, but for me its what makes it so special. I’ve chosen “You’re my Everything” by Cori.

The thing about this layout that really stuck out to me was the photo. It’s not a perfect photo. I very rarely see a layout with a photo that is out of focus and I know for a fact that we don’t all get a perfect photo every time. I have many photos that are out of focus and I think that we all need to think about scrapping more with those not-so-perfect photos. Life isn’t perfect and I think that some of the worst photos I personally own, are memories of some of the best times of my life.

I love the way Cori placed everything on the page, from the elements in the corner, to the  half flower, to the placement of the index card and the title work. I think it has such a warm feeling to it and it’s why Ive chosen it for Layout of the Week.
