From Our Blog to Yours

Hey readers!! I’m gonna change things up today and not do a quiz or whatnot.

Desperate times call for desperate measures and my family and I are at wits end trying to think of a name for our impending bundle of joy. This is going to be our 4th girl and we are just flat out of names, and with 4 weeks to go a name is kinda important haha. We have a few we like but I would love to know some other suggestions and I know you gals will have plenty of ideas. Just a little info on what I like in a name. I’m not very traditional, I kinda like unisex names, and I really love different spellings (must to my husbands dislike lol). Baby’s last initial is a B so something that will go with that too! The only three names you can’t choose are Nichole, Camdyn, and Ryleigh since those are taken already lol I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  • There was someone on a baby board with me a few years ago who had really unique and pretty names for her girls. They were Irelyn, Sariah (sounds like Mariah, like Mariah Carey), Raina, and there was one more I can’t remember. Those might go good with the style you like. Good luck!

  • OK – my friends have a little girl named Landree (pronounced like Tom Landry or Landry’s Seafood). Their other daughter is Peyton – both are very unisex names. I have a Kacy, which I consider to be very unisex. You could spell that so many different ways, too. Good luck!!!

  • I have two girls, Kenadee and Reese! I am pregnant again and I don’t know what it is but I have no more girl names so this has been helpful to me also. Thanks…

  • Ok, so I have always loved my name growing up and well into adulthood. I would love to have named my girl the same, (if I have one) but I just think it would be too weird to name my daughter by my name.

Anyway, I say go with Delilah…

I have always gotten compliments on the name and now there is a sweet song someone can dedicate to her one day… 🙂

  • I like traditional names, if Andrew had been a girl, like the ultrasound technician said he was, he was going to be Abigail Elise. I also like the name Lauren.

  • I just met a girl named
‘Chandler’ yesterday. She is a doll.

  • My sister was big on different names too. Their last name also started with a B and all the girls have 4 names, 2 middle names!!!

Krystal, Shylene, Misty, Lynsey, Nicole, Madison, Brooke, Lacey and Kirby!

4 little girls! How fun!!! JHart

  • We just had our 2nd girl last thursday and she is Emma Kate. The other names I tossed around are Ava and Sophia. I love both of those.

  • Hmmm….. how about

    Alyce? I love that spelling!
