Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

Hey everyone!  Kellie here bringing you this week’s Sweet Gallery Standouts.  As always, the gallery is full of sweet inspiration, and the first batch of challenges this month has brought us some amazing layouts.  I had the hardest time narrowing it down to just four, but here it goes…

Psalm149 created this adorable, well-designed layout for the Sugar Free Challenge:

I love her title work {and her title, too, lol} and the awesome way she layered papers and elements on top of and underneath her photos.  She perfectly captured her daughter’s feelings about her baby brother in those pictures.

I think trudem gets the best shots, and I LOVE this photo of her with her dad.  It’s so crisp and clear it caught my attention, and then I fell in love with the composition of her layout. It was for the TOTM feature, but she totally made it her own.  The white bg goes perfectly with the blue paper and blue, red & black elements.

Next up we have Linz with this fantastic layout for the Paper2Digi Challenge; I love the brown and blue together, and how could anyone not love those chubby cheeks and blond hair her little cutie is sporting?! Her title work is great, and her shadows are so realistic.

Last but clearly not least we have rainydays with this incredibly beautiful page for last week’s SAL.

The colors, the flowers, the photos…it all works together to make me think it might be worth the risk to try for a girl…

I love the scalloped edges, the element placement and her cute title.
