Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

Good Morning everyone. Im ready to bring you a selection of inspiring layouts that stood out to me this past week from our sugar sweet gallery thats just overflowing with yumminess. Finding standouts in the gallery is actually quite easy – they are in abundance – the challenge really comes in trying to pick just a few for this feature.

Ill start up with a layout by Aly321 completed for the “Little” One Word Challenge using Melissa Bennett’s Baby O’mine Collection. I just love the photo in Sweet Little Baby Feet and the soft baby colours chosen as a backdrop.

My next choice is an emotionally charged response to the Sugarfree challenge. I love layouts that speak to my soul as well as my eyes and AnnieBananie’s layout Drown does that so simply. I love the imagery portrayed through her journaling along with the real yet raw emotion that the layout harnesses. Annie combined a variety of Sweet Shoppe goodies from an equal variety of Sweet Shoppe designers to create this cathartic piece.

On a lighter note I found a couple of sinister looking Cousins: Planning an Escape on a page completed by Gypsystar for the ever popular cookie challenge. Apart from this cute photo I really love the soft earthy colours and element choices from Melissa Bennett’s Mud Pie Kit. I also thought the use of the larger version of the photo in the smaller accents at the top corner of the page was a clever twist on the original layout.

My final standout comes from the Hybrid Inspiration gallery and was created by inskidahv using 2 Straws Mega Kit by Dani, Shawna & Traci. This is one simply delicious friendship card. I am in awe of every beautiful detail, the quality finish as well as the eye catching design.
