Gallery Stand-outs (from 06/02)

Now Ive managed my way though 50 gallery pages – man you guys are keeping us babes busy! The gallery walls are active and alive with colour and sweet memories and taking forever to load over a dial up network!!
I spent hours earlier this week roaming the gallery to bring you just a small selection of the gorgeousness that lives there and Im so terribly sorry to have kept you all waiting this long to get them posted. Im not going to make you wait one secong longer so here is what I have:
First up; a simple and elegantly designed card that was inspired by the May one word challenge “SWEET”. It was created by Sara (aka Livelys) who has a fabulous gallery loaded with hybrid wonders.

Next, from Jami (aka alansrock) comes this Frosty Memory which gained inspiration from Linz’s gallery in the spin-a-lift challenge! Awesome work on the depth and the tilted skewed border stitches really finished this off nicely – will have to try that sometime soon.

Now Ill share a layout that made me shed tears – Heather (aka isaacsmom) documented the tragedy that left her son deaf in the form of a letter. Her layout tells the story of the fateful day when her son Isaac became gravely ill ultimately leading to the loss of his hearing. While the layout is devoid of photography it is a perfect example of how words can be so compelling in a layout.

My final selection is a celebration of summer colour and it made great use of Tracey’s cookie template challenge. Here is Kara’s take on the challenge with Fresh Air:

The makers of this weeks stand outs will earn a sweet reward point towards their June tally. Congrats to you all!
