Friday Featured Staffer – Christy Lyle
Happy Friday to you all. It’s Stephanie here bringing you our Featured Staffer for this week. Today we are featuring Christy Lyle. Remember at the end of this post you’ll have a chance to add another layout to your May Portfolio with a Blog Challenge.
Here’s a little more about Christy.
I have been designing digital scrapbooking products since 2005. I have also had the great opportunity to design a few paper lines for the scrapbooking company, My Mind’s Eye available at local scrapbook stores, Michael’s and Hobby Lobby. 1. How did you get started designing? I began digital scrapbooking in 2004 and once I had been digiscrapbooking for a while, I was asked to be on The Digi Chick’s Creative Team. After being there for a short while, I thought that I would try my hand at designing. I fell in love with designing and haven’t looked back since.
2. Where do you get inspiration for your designs? I am inspired by so many things! Magazines, websites, movies, songs…to name a few.

4. What’s your designing “atmosphere”? My designing atmosphere is sitting on my couch in the living room with my feet up on the ottoman watching TV after the kids have gone to bed.

Special Delivery:
I love this recent kit of mine, Special Delivery. I really needed the motivation to scrap my kids’ baby pictures so I decided to make this kit so that I could use one kit for both of my kids.
A Year In The Life Collection:
A Year In The Life is one of the all-time favourite collections of mine. I love that each kit is themed yet versatile at the same time.
Whimsy Wonderland:
I will always have a special place in my heart for Whimsy Wonderland. The whole kit screams “me”! I absolutely love whimsical things, fall colours and everything that comes with autumn!
