Featured Babe 6/25 – Meghan Mullens

Happy Friday everyone! I for one can’t believe we’re already into our last full week of June! I hope everyone is enjoying the challenges this month and that this week’s Bonus Challenge will help you add another gorgeous page to your Portfolios. This week we’re featuring another one of our fabulous Sugar Babes – Meghan Mullens (FlirtatiousBrat). I’m a huge fan of Meg’s scrapping style – her gallery is full of beautiful layers and gorgeous patterned papers.

Here’s a little more about Meg:

I have been scrapping for almost four years now…I became a Babe in November 07–best CT gig ever! I use CS5 on a Mac (occasionally when DH lets me on) and CS2 on the PC.

1. How long have you been a Babe?

2 and 1/2 years

2. What are 2 things you consider yourself to be very good at?

Well I’m VERY type A and left brained..so my organization skills are a given haha. What else..I think I’m good at scrapping MOMENTS not necessarily every photo and event.

3. What’s one little known fact about you?

Well I’m quite a shy, private person (really..except on the boards I guess haha) but most people if you KNOW me know that sooo…I guess a little known fact about me..I have five tattoos. Yep..sweet lil me has an ink addiction!

4. Tell us a little about your scrapping “style” if you have one.

I love layers, flowers, ribbons, bows, and lots of papers . The more I can throw on there the better! I’m also an incredibly SLOWWW scrapper..one layout can take me DAYS!

I also asked Meg to share a few of her own favorite layouts and tell us what she loves about them:

I love the design aspect of these two layouts. They were for a CT contest at DSA that I got to be a part of for SSD (we won too!) I loved being stretched outside of my usual comfort zone and style. I just really love how these two turned out.

I love how this one turned out. It was a lift for TOTM but I feel like I snuck my own style into it and just loved all the different papers. I’m definitely a paper person when it comes to scrapping (that has NOT always been the case)
