Layout of the Week!

Mondays do seem like a drag sometimes, don’t they? We always think that ugh..what a way to start the week. But I have a great way to start of the week for you…with this week’s Layout of the Week!

Browsing through the gallery this week, my eye kept going to layouts with no photos. I’m loving how we’re seeing more and more folks share their hearts with their families and doing so in so many unique and beautiful ways. There is some amazing talent on our site, and I’m awed by all of you!

My choice for layout of the week turned out to be one that is really personal for me. I happened to have this same sort of conversation with one of my boys in the last weeks, and the story struck a chord with me. I also loved the symbolism in the layout. The cloud with rain over the silhoutte, the move to happy images as prayer was answered, the turmoil in the doodled scribbles, the arrow as if bringing the prayer from heaven. They may not be what she intended, but MamaTrish did a great job sharing those emotions with us.
