Layout of the Week – 2/28
It is the end of February and the month has flown just by! I love it when it is my turn to pick a layout of the week but I won’t lie it is not the easiest thing to do. This week was filled with so many beautiful layouts that I had all the tabs open to closely look at them all! But I kept coming back to one and finally after squinting REALLY hard to read the poignant journaling…..I knew this was a layout that had to be this week’s highlight – Angel by the super talented “lizzy257.”
Everything about this layout is awesome – from the perfect blend of brushwork and simple framing of her photos and the use of minimal colors on this page. But what makes this layout so outstanding is the beautiful journaling that tells the story of the loss of a child. Scrapbooking is a way to tell the story about the good and the tough times in our life and this layout reminds us of why we create the pages we do. My heart goes out to you….thank you for sharing your page with us!
