365 Days of Bliss – Day 3 Ultrasounds

Happy Tuesday everyone! Erin here today to entertain you all with my blog post. 🙂  I must admit that I’ve been nervous about my first post with this new format;basically because I don’t find my writing skills to be quite up to par! I’ve been tweeting and forum commenting for too long that I can’t recall how to form the correct sentence structure! lol But anyways I’ll give it my best shot! 🙂

Today I wanted to talk to you all about a special moment I’ve recently experienced – the 20 week ultrasound. (well mine was at 19 weeks but close enough!) This is the ultrasound that includes an anatomy scan where most people find out the sex of their baby. We definitely wanted to find out if we would be having another boy or a little girl. We were all kind of hoping that the baby would be a girl – that way we would have one of each.  But I had a feeling that it would be another boy – and I was right! My husband and son were both with me in the ultrasound room when we found out the results; it was quite adorable when we told my son that it was a boy – he replied with “But I wanted a sister!” But less then an hour later he was excited about having a baby brother.  🙂 Oh and his recommendations for names include Tiger, Lion and Zebra! Maybe for nicknames 🙂

I received about 20 different pictures from the ultrasound appointment. I knew I wanted to scrap them but I wasn’t sure how I was going to do it.  That is until I saw a recent release from Cindy – Half Pack 12. That template pack combined with KCB’s kit Baby Boy was perfect for what I envisioned.

Now I just need to get the page printed and put into baby boy #2’s book! (can I also just say that my favorite picture would be the one of his foot! So cute!)

So have you recently scrapped an ultrasound picture? Please link me up in the comment thread so I can check them out! I still have pictures from my first son’s ultrasounds that I have yet to scrap so I could use some extra inspiration! 🙂
