365 Days of Bliss – Talking About Albums

Hello August! Aggie here starting with a whole new month of bliss from the SSD staff 🙂

Can you believe it’s going to be the ~ber months 30 days from now? It’s going to be Christmas before you know it.

I think this is the first time I ever really went with the whole “Christmas in July” project because I finished our Christmas 2010 album! I still have 2008 and 2009 to think about and actually do but what the heck being able to actually finish a Christmas album is an accomplishment for me!

BUT – what I am most proud and excited about is the fact that I was able to cross off one major project from my list. This has been in one of my to-do projects for years ever since I saw Janet’s Birthday Album in the shoppe. And I am so proud of the finished product!

Here are some of its pages:

It’s a great way to document you or your loved ones growth and birthdays all in one book! I inserted some spreads in between about how we celebrated each birthday and you can view them all here.

I am sure you would want to know what are all those amazing stuff I have used 😉
KITS & TEMPLATES
1. The template album by Janet Phillips

2. A folder where the birthday kits were stored. I decided on using these kits using kraft paper as base. I decided on using a mish mash of stuff with bright papers.
Jennifer Barrette Totally Rad Birthday
Julie Billingsley Funfetti
Traci Reed It’s My Party
Lauren Grier Birthday Monsters
3. A Lot of Cindy Schneider’s Super Seven Templates – I figured that I would include some tidbits on the celebration itself and these were perfect since I cannot gauge how I can partner page spreads.

I used the little cute animals from Traci’s It’s My Party kit – the animals are more than worth it – it also works for both girls and boys so more value for your buck!

Everything just got easier with Janet’s albums as well. I used her Mix N Match 1 Mini Album to do my daughter’s parties (seriously done in just a couple of hours!)

You can view the whole album here.

And then I used her Magical Memories Album for another party celebration:
