Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

I meant to you share with you an album I was supposed to have finished by now, but life got in the way so I am sharing with you the other album that inspired it in the first place.

I had the great foresight (HA!) to actually keep my son’s (who is now 10) “quotable quotes” – I blogged religiously then so when I was making his albums (it ballooned to two volumes) it was easy for me to copy and paste everything. I gave it to him as a present during his birthday and it was his second favorite gift out of the ten he received (because how can one ever compete with a Disneyland trip?!)

Seriously though, my son loved it. He even shows it to guests when they come over our house!

I made it easier for me – just made a spread and made everything from the text type and size to be the same all through out:

Thankfully, I was able to save some of my interviews with him when he was 5 and 6:

It was easier since he was an only child then. My second, who just turned 5, had way more funnier quotes than his brother but my memory keeping is all over the place. I blame social networking for this 😉 – FB updates, Twitter stats, IG photos. So while I am still collating everything, I use Momento (an iPhone app) to slurp every blog, twit, IG and FB status I have so it is easier for me the next time!
