365 Days of Bliss – A Mystery to Solve!
Hi everyone! It’s Erin here today 🙂 I have been so busy lately. A new baby, out of town relatives, birthday’s…October has been non-stop! We are definitely creating a lot of wonderful memories that I will need to scrap!
So I brought up birthday’s – my oldest son just turned 4 and we had a small party for him. I asked him back in August what theme he would like and he choose Scooby Doo! Since then, I have been checking out Pinterest and Google for the best Scooby Doo ideas. I didn’t want to go too overboard as I knew it would be a stressful week with the in-laws visiting and having a 4 week old. One of my favorite ideas was to have the kids solve a mystery! At our party, we had a Pinata Snatcher! He left clues for the kids to follow and in order to receive the next clue, the kids had to complete certain activities. What activities did I plan? Well the kids had to complete an obstacle course, put on disguises at the photo booth, make their own Scooby Doo dog tag, and decorate a doggie bag. And once the mystery was solved, they got to play with the pinata!
Here are a few pictures from the event:

For the photo booth, I used Dani’s Photobooth: Just Be Silly and for all my print-ables, I used Libby’s 4 Meddling Kids. Both worked perfectly!
All the kids had an absolute blast! And the birthday boy loved his party 🙂 (even though he looks like he’s been tortured in the above photo – he loved it! lol)

My son loves Scooby Doo as well thanks for the great ideas – isn’t it great how he has moved across generations. Also love the dog tag idea – did you use Fruit Loops cereal for the them, or some type of lolly.

Love it!! You did an awesome job. My daughters (5 and 2) are currently obsessed with Scooby-Doo. They are dressing as Daphne and Velma for Halloween – their choice. My oldest has a birthday in March and it would be so fun to have a Scooby theme!! I also already have the photo booth and meddling kids kits you mentioned. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by, we’re not certain where Erin got this pinata since it’s been some time since this post went live.
