Sweet Shoppe Designs – The Sweetest Digital Scrapbooking Site on the Web

Hey, Hey Sweet Shoppers! Can you believe we’ve been offline for a week now? It seems like it’s been forever, but we are soo excited to be back with you guys in our brand new sweeter-than-ever spot on the web. I have soo much to show off and tell you about this week, so let’s get started with the latest gorgeous products and inspiring layouts from our Designers and Babes. Here’s a peek at this week’s sweet new stuff…

There is so much yummy stuff to be devoured this week, and you may notice that all of it is wearing new clothes! That’s right, our designers have been hard at work converting the entire store into our brand new preview format. It’s been years since we’ve changed those out, but I think the project was totally worthwhile as the designer’s products really shine in the new format! New previews are just the beginning of the changes to be found at the all-new SSD, so let’s take a quick look at some of the other new treats in store for you when you visit our newly renovated home!

• A New Look – Everything has been redesigned on the site! From our homepage to our preview format, our staff page to the product pages in the store, SSD is all-new and sweeter than ever through and through. We’ve listened to a lot of your input and have made some minor tweaks and changes that will hopefully make shopping, posting and being part of the Sweet Shoppe family easier than ever. Look for our new social networking icons throughout the site to like, pin and tweet your favorite sweet stuff too!
• Bargain Bites – We’ve gotten rid of Penny Candy in favor of a more user friendly daily promotion in the store! Our new Bargain Bites section features 2 products from each of our designers which will be discounted 40% off for a limited time. We think this is soo much easier than browsing hundreds of products, and the discount is sweeter too! We’ll rotate products in and out of this section randomly, so keep checking back if you’re looking for a great deal on some of your favorite sweet stuff.
• Pinterest Portfolios – We think our monthly portfolio is pretty inspiring, but we think it will be even more inspiring this year as we’ve decided to host it at Pinterest with tons of visual inspiration for you guys. The Sweet Shoppe Challenge portfolio is the same one you’ve grown to love, but we think this new element is going to really pump up the sweet inspiration. We do hope you’ll get involved so you can earn 20, 30 or even 40% off in the shoppe each month during Sweet Rewards week!
• Featured Designers – We know you guys love getting to know our designers better so we’ve come up with a new feature that puts each of our designers in the spotlight with a scrumptious promotional offer too.  Get to know our current featured designer, Lauren Grier, by reading our 20 Questions spotlight on the blog, and pick up her exclusive featured designer kit, The Little Things You Say, FREE with ANY $10 purchase in the shoppe now through the 15th of the month. We’ll have a brand new designer in the spotlight and a new featured designer kit on the 16th too, so check back to find out who will be in the spotlight next!
• Tutorials – You guys have asked for it, and our staff is finally giving it to you! We get so many questions on how to get started digital scrapbooking and how to scrap better, and finally, we have a full-service resource for you right here at Sweet Shoppe Designs! Our new tutorial blog is jam packed with step-by-step tutorials and tips and tricks on everything related to digital and hybrid scrapbooking, photography and more, and it’s just going to keep growing! I learned a ton from our Babes while reading over these tutorials, so even if you’re an amazing and experienced scrapper, be sure to check them out because they are delectable!
• Freebies – Yes, it’s true, we’ve added freebies to the shoppe! So many new digital scrappers get started in our favorite hobby by downloading freebies, and we thought it’s time that they have a spot where they can download freebies from our talented team of designers. If you have friends or family members just getting started, be sure to point them in our direction to get started!

Honestly, these tidbits are just the icing on the cake of everything that’s new here at SSD, and the best way to see it all is to just explore!
