Happy Fathers Day to all the Sweet Dad’s out there!

I have two amazing father’s who I am lucky enough to have in my life. First my husband Scott-who without I couldn’t make it through the day-he is seriously an amazing man-a wonderful father. Sometimes I think that Landen likes him more than me-which is probably the case-he is so calm and emotionally even-I’m a basket case most days.
One of his favorite desserts is Pineapple Upside Down Cake, so I decided today that that is the special thing I would do for him-for his special day. We don’t exchange gifts so a cake is a perfect middle ground.

Yum! Now to hide it so he can’t find it, it’s a suprise! I’m glad Landen is spending the night with my sister tonight because I know without a doubt he wouldn’t be able to hold it in.
No Father’s Day would be complete without a shout out to MY dad. Mr. Bayne Sims-he is the most amazing dad on the face of the earth, NO LIE. There isn’t anything this man can’t or wouldn’t do for me or my family. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without his love and guidance. I LOVE YOU POPS!
This is a picture I took yesterday of my dad, my sister Jeannie and myself. My baby sister lives in Indy and couldn’t be home this weekend so guess what? Jeannie and I get props as the favorite daughters this year (SCORE).

omg! we used to make this all the time when we were kids. My dad was the cook so this was one he made often! Thanks for the memory!

Pineapple Upside Down Cake is my husband and my FIL favorite too! Yum!
