Hey sweeties! Isn’t life great? Today I was thinking about some of the blessings in my life. One of them right now, is watching my children grow. My oldest is 8, and has been taking gymnastics for a few years now. We have really encouraged her to do her best. This month she was able to get her whip. I was so happy to see the gleam in her eye, knowing that she had the confidence in herself to do something great that she has been practicing for and working towards. Being a parent is so full of questions for me, and one has been how to help my children find and develop their talents. Taylor is good at many things, and likes to try new things, so she tends to want to jump from one thing to another. We have tried to teach her that when things get hard, we can’t just quit. We keep practicing and doing our best, until we reach our goal. What a great feeling as a parent to know that we have helped her attain that goal, that seemed so impossible! Dreams are possible to achieve! We are so proud of our girl! What are some ways that you help encourage your kids?
