8 Ways to Enjoy Pumpkin without the Pie
Hi, I’m Darcy, and I’m a Pumpkiholic.
It’s no secret that I ♥ Pumpkin as any of my friends and family will tell you. I won’t admit to having a tremendously large stockpile of canned pumpkin in the pantry. I try to keep my habit controlled, but it doesn’t always work, and this time of year brings tons of ways to use pumpkin.
Traditionally, one of my favorites is still pumpkin pie. I can eat it every single day (and will not admit to having it for breakfast more than once). Now, I know there are some of you out there saying…but..but I don’t like pumpkin pie. Well, friends, I’m here to introduce you to a few ways of incorporating pumpkin into your Thanksgiving deserts that don’t require the traditional pumpkin pie. Let me take you to the land called Pinterest. Follow me. It’s going to be delicious.

Now – if you really don’t enjoy sweets (what is WRONG with you?) and would love a savory take on pumkin, try a pumpkin hummus – I’m telling you, it’s fantastic. I happen to make mine with a whole can of pumpkin instead of the traditional half can of pumpkin and have it with pita chips, crackers, vegetables..my fingers.. umm. forget I said that.

Hopefully this gives you some ideas of ways to incorporate pumpkin into your fall menus without going the traditional pie route. Try one. You’re welcome.

Jumping Jack-o-Lanterns, Batman!!! Woah, Darcy. These are succulent, scrumptious, seductive! Dare I say, “Better than… chocolate!”
I think so.
