FREE-July Intro and Bonus Challenge
Meghan introduces the blog theme for July..and a bonus portfolio challenge!
Hey Sweet Readers!! Meg here bringing you this month’s blog theme. Just a note that this month the blog is going to be a watered down version since so many of us are vacationing and just busy with SUMMER!!
With July being the month of patriotic celebrations (Canada Day, Independence Day, etc) we decided to go with a blog theme of FREE for the month. Free doesn’t have to be in a patriotic sense either so don’t let that discourage you from keeping up with us this month.
I was trying to brainstorm what I wanted to do to introduce the theme this month and found this quote.
Free yourself to be yourself
It really struck a chord with me because as a wife, mom, sibling, and friend there is always a part of me that is lacking in some aspect. I can’t be everything to everybody at the same time and I need to let go of that burden. I googled a bit and found this video that asks that same question to numerous people. The answers some had were quite uplifting. Check it out. I loved the guy that said he’s perfect the way he is..how FREEING is that?
