Spotlight on Travel Layouts
Lydia spotlights travel layouts from our community members.
Here on the Sweet Shoppe blog, we’ve been focusing on travel this month. And, I was lucky enough to spend some time going through the gallery to find some fabulous travel layouts to showcase. Our gallery never disappoints! Have you noticed that! I found so many wonderful layouts with travel themes . . . it was hard to narrow it down to the ones I’m going to show you now. So, be sure to pop over and take a look at these layouts, but spend some extra time looking at all the other fantastic travel layouts as well. There just isn’t enough space to show them all here!
First off, check out this gorgeous layout from joelsgirl! That picture of her cute boys hanging out in an airport and all the wonderful journaling about their world travels make this layout a true treasure. I really love that she included the map with the arrow pointing to the little spot in the world that they currently call, “home.”
Isn’t this hybrid travel journal by anika amazing! Not only is it beautiful, but you can see how many wonderful details she captured in these pages. What a wonderful way to document a vacation! I absolutely adore it!
This layout by Milmomma highlights a favorite travel destination. I love all the little tickets and tags tucked in on the borders. I love the large photo focal point. And, I super love the photo of that little one sleeping away in her car seat. 😀
Here’s a pocket scrapping style layout by rach3975. I think this style really lends itself to travel layouts, and I love how this layout covers so many different activities on just one page. I can see doing an entire vacation album in this style, for sure!
Adrianka’s gallery is full of beautiful travel layouts, and I really love this one! That main photo is just stunning, and the colors of the kit she used are just gorgeous. I love everything about this layout!
Now here’s an interesting mode of transportation . . . horsedrawn wagon. 🙂 How many of us have been able to travel this way? This layout by mummytothree documents an activity that included a truly unique form of travel. I’ve got to admit that I’m a bit jealous of the experience. 😀 Beautiful layout!
And, here’s another layout that features a form of transportation . . . this time, trains! Scrapmommaof3 created this layout to remember a school field trip. I love those pictures of her son standing at the window of the train, enjoying the experience and the passing view.
Last, but not least, here is a gorgeous, gorgeous layout documenting some fun summer activities. I love the overall feel of the layout with the triangle pattern, all the word art, and the painty background. Of course, those photos are just stunning, and make me want to head out on vacation right this minute. 😀
