A couple of years ago I decided to start doing selfies to make sure I also capture myself in my scrapping. I have always struggled with self-esteem issues and doing these selfies has helped me to learn to accept myself, flaws and all.

Quilting: I have always been fascinated with quilts and someday I want to learn how to do them. For now I just keep adding to my stash of fabrics.

Cake Decorating: I love to bake and when I was young my mother taught herself to do cake decorating. I love all the possibilities there are with cake decorating now. I have dabbled a little in it already but would love to take some classes to learn more, especially gum paste flowers.

Pysanky: Ukrainian Easter Eggs. I was born in Canada and I remember going to visit family members and seeing these beautiful eggs displayed with their fine china. I was fascinated with them and since I am of Ukrainian descent I decided I wanted to learn how to make them. I have some of the tools and made 1 egg so far. They are a lot of work and there is so many stories and meaning behind each thing you create on the eggs. I have so much to learn.

Photography: I have some of the equipment. I just lack the knowledge. I guess I just need to devote some extra time to learning my equipment and the editing part so that I can take some amazing photos.

1 – My absolute favorite vacation spot would be on a cruise ship anywhere sailing in the Caribbean. It is by far the most relaxing yet fun filled vacation I have ever had.

2 – Next anywhere there is a beach and a place to park my travel trailer is a perfect spot for me. My favorite spot hands down though is Hunting Island State Park in South Carolina. You camp right next to the beach and can hear the waves all night while in your trailer. I loved walking the beaches and just relaxing.

3 – Our family’s best vacation was to Disney World. We all walked around each day with constant grins from all the excitement and magic of all the parks and things to do. I loved watching my children get to experience it.

4 – Last spot has to be Table Rock State Park in South Carolina. It is in the mountains of western side of the state. We had no clue there were mountains in South Carolina. The views are breathtaking and the things to do are endless around there. We loved camping there during the cooler weather. I hope someday to get the chance to go back there.

1 – This hexagon box created by kelleighr is so beautiful and looks so complex. It is amazing to see my designs in paper form being used.

2 – I have picked another hexagon box, this one from majula. I love how fun and festive it is.

3 – I love to make cards, but mine never turn out looking even close to amazing like this one by livelys. The whole design and composition just fit together perfect!

4 – Last pick for me was this super fun standing pillow box by julifish. What a fun way to give a great little Halloween treat at a party or for handing out to all the little trick or theaters.

1 – I love this layout by Lizzy using my kit Spider Cider. The layering and contrast with the B&W photos is so appealing.

2 – This page by tanyiadeskins really caught my eye in the gallery. Not only are her pages stunning, but also I love how she filled the page with journaling that helped create this gorgeous page.

3 – This layout by leontine78 is just so fun to look at with the bright colors and fun photos to match. The design and composition just flows so well.

4 – I am always in awe of those that do the clustering so well. ttt83 really captured the layering, clustering and shadows in this gorgeous page that it made me gasp when I saw it in the gallery.

Don’t forget to check back in with us next Friday and every friday after that as we put the rest of our incredible designers into the spotlight. Each of them have such quirky personalities that I’m positive each week will bring new surprises and special treats that we can’t wait to share with you!
