Spotlight Sunday – Vanessa Armstrong (SugarBabe Edition)
We’ve been having so much fun with our designer’s 4 in ’14, we decided to add our SugarBabes and community members in the mix! Every Sunday we’ll be spotlighting someone new! First up is Vanessa Armstrong, let’s take a look at her awesome 4 in ’14 post!
I was always a camera hog growing up, I really loved having my picture taken, but the older and chubbier I’ve gotten the less I enjoy it. I decided to play the Sweet Shoppe’s Project Love Me game this year, I’m not happy with every selfie I take, but I like these.
These are my 4 favorite layouts I’ve done so far in 2014.
1. I’ve been working on a Book of Me for the last 5 years or so, this page shows off some of the super cute hats that I’ve crocheted for my newborn sessions.
2. This page is of my daughter Keira, 4 years ago she was diagnosed with cancer, the hospital that treated her wanted to film and photographer her to use for some hospital promotional materials. I love the page because it shows how far she’s come over the last few years, its like Meghan Mullens made that kit for Keira.
3. I did on my current obsession with all things Veronica Mars and Jason Dohring.
4. This page will also go in my Book of Me, it’s a page about my hometown in Florida.
It’s too hard to pick my favorite kits, so I picked some of my favorite helpers!
Celebrity Crushes, we all have them! Mine are always changing, but here are 4 of my current favs; Jason Dohring, Ian Somerhalder, Luke Bryan and Timothy Olyphant.
I love music, country music most of all. These are the last 4 songs I downloaded and I highly recommend!
Like music, I’m obsessed with TV and watch far too many shows.
1. We just started watching Justified this year on Amazon Prime, I love the wit and dialogue, and Raylan is a bad ass!
2. Veronica Mars, it’s been off the air for 7 years, but when I heard about the movie being made, my interest was peeked. I finished all 3 seasons super fast (thanks again to Amazon Prime), that I decided to watch them all again! Great wit, dialogue, love story, high school drama and mysteries! What’s not to love about that and the movie is really good too.
3. Reign, I look forward to this every week, it’s one of the only shows I watch the night it airs.
4. Finally, Mad Men, I’m really sad it’s ending this year! I wonder what will happen to Don Draper, I love all the 60’s era stuff, I’m a sucker for anything historical!
