Selfies:
One of my resolutions this year was to do a 52-weeks project love me selfie photos. However, somehow I failed miserably after 4 weeks. After giving birth, I lost confidence at taking photos of myself. In fact, most the photos I have these days are the ones where I hide most of my body behind my dear son. I think I need to do something to change that around soon. Here are my photos from last year, in fact.

From left, clockwise: (1) Merrily merrily merrily by Flergs & Libby; Love the rainbow colours here. It screams happiness & cheerfulness! (2) I am always excited whenever Krystal has new Mashups releasing! They are so versatile to use, especially when I can’t decide which papers to use in the kit! Mash them all up and weget all the gorgeous patterns on one page. (3) I am a sucker for all things gold, glittery or silver! A thousand words by Zoe Pearn is an old-time favourite! I’ve used it to scrap some pages as well as on some minibook project last year. (4) I love Cindy’s layered cards! The fact that you can modify the colours as you please and use them on a page or for Project Life is awesome!
My favourite SSD pages to date:
From left, clockwise: In general, I love clustering and flowers. You can almost always find flowers on every one of my pages. With that said, I also adore some other styles, e.g., I always itch to try to scrap a minimalist page (of course, with not much luck most of the time!) (1) This is one of the earliest pages I did at the beginning of this year and the best I can do for minimalist style. I love this kit by Flergs & KCB and I especially adore those flowers! (2) I also love having my picture(s) big on the page. Here, I played a bit with the colours of the picture. (3) I enjoyed scrapping this page, it was fun and different from my usual style. It helps to have some fun background papers like this one. 🙂 (4)This page is me shouting to myself to be strong and courageous. I’ve been having some rough times the last couple of years; battling depression & trying to adapt to a new country that I don’t speak the language of. I’m glad to say that scrapping helps me like some kind of therapy, especially when I scrap a page like this.
Four Top Dream Places:
From left, clockwise: (1) Who doesn’t love Paris?! I’ve been there once in 2011 and I still want to come back there again! (2) Maldives – I’m dreaming of some major relaxing holiday, adoring the beautiful view & some swimming! (3) Switzerland – The fresh air and the gorgeous sceneries, what more can I say? (4) Greece – I’ve seen pictures of beautiful Greece and I’ve heard people say how wonderful it is there. So, I’d love to go and see it myself one day!
Four favourite beauty products:
From left, clockwise: (1) L’Occitane Pure Shea Butter – I have very dry skin and suffer from eczema, this butter has helped to heal my cracked skin and keeps me away from eczema. (2) Clinique 3 Step Skin Care – I don’t really wear make up everyday, so this is as far as ‘cosmetic’ go for me most of the time. (3) Body Shop Honey Mania Body Scrub – Every now and then, I’d pamper myself with this lovely body scrub and imagine myself in a spa! LOL! (4) Kenzo Flower Perfume – My all-time favourite perfume so far. I tried a few new ones, but nothing beats this one.
