Memory Lane Monday – Rubia Padilha
Ru of Studio Basic Designs is our Featured Designer through this Thursday. You can pick up her FWP kit, Lucky Me, with every $10 purchase through this Thursday, March 26th. Today, we’re taking a really long walk down Memory Lane to see how Ru’s design style has changed. I asked her to send me some old previews & she LOADED me up!! I was blown away by all of the previews she gave me and I couldn’t decide on what to show so you’re getting (almost) all of them 😀
She let me in on some secrets 😉 This is what she sent to Robin when she applied for SSD’s Designer Call. She had soooo many great previews/products that she sent. I’m only posting the kits but I love that she has so many add-ons to go with the original kit…brushes, cards, templates, & alphas. Her collections are loaded!
Then these were the very first products she released at SSD! I love all of the templates. They’re so eclectic but you’re still able to really make them your own.

With her newest releases, I’m loving her handwritten wordart. She has some great brushes too. I can always count on her for those. Ru’s style is completely unique, I think, in this hobby and that’s something that I love about her.
