Sweet Shoppe Saturday 7/18
Hey, Hey Sweet Shoppers! Another week has come and gone, and if you’re anything like me, you’re stoked that the weekend is finally here because you can’t wait to see the latest goodies from your favorite sweet spot! I am seriously loving our summer events this year, and tonight is not going to disappoint! Not only do I have a heap of gorgeous new products to share with you as usual, we have a new featured designer freebie and a brand new designer is joining our team & making her debut tonight too! I have so much to tell you about this week, so let’s get right to it with your first look at this week’s sweet new stuff…
With summer holidays and kids home from school keeping our designers busy, things are a little quieter than usual this week, but what is being released tonight is seriously fantastic! As you can see above, there are loads of gorgeous new Two Scoops, and if you’re a fan of the Believe in Magic series from Amber & Megs, I think their latest release, Mermaid Dreams, is a must have for all of you Disney fans out there! We also have a really fun tennis kit from Christine which was inspired by a community request, and that’s just the start of what you’ll find tonight in the shoppe!
If templates are your thing, there are some fantastic new releases from Brook & Cindy this week, and Brook is in the spotlight as our newest featured designer too which means this week’s $10 freebie is an absolutely awesome set of templates that I think you guys are going to love…
Normally, I let our featured designer products speak for themselves and point you guys to the blog for inspiration, but this week, I fell in love with a couple of layouts from our Babes and have to share them with you so we can oooh and ahhh over them together!
First up, this stunning layout from SugarBabe Jacinda reminds me how underrated solid papers are in digital scrapping! Sometimes simple, bright, bold colors combined brilliantly are absolutely gorgeous as you can see here…
And then SugarBabe Trish blew me away with her creativity in using this template in a totally out of the box way. Brook’s original templates show her shapes shadowed and framed on top of the layout, but Trish took these templates to a whole new level in her ridiculously awesome stenciled look layout here…
I am constantly reminded how lucky I am to work with some of the most talented women in the industry, and I am even more excited because our team is growing and getting more incredible as we speak! This week, I am thrilled to announce the addition of the second of our six new designers to debut this summer and I know you guys are going to love her!
I’ve been a fan of our newest designer forever, so when her name came up during our recent search for new additions, I couldn’t help but get in touch with this talented artist to see if she’d be interested in joining our team! While she’s been absent from the digital scrapping scene for a couple of years now, she has been working in graphic design selling unique items on Etsy, and she is seriously better than ever! I could go on and on about how fabulously talented our newest designer is, but instead I’ll just say that it is my great honor to share that as part of our Summer of Love event…
Vera’s whimsical and playful, hand-illustrated kits are absolutely gorgeous and her eye for color is second to none! She has journal cards and magical clusters of elements to compliment each and every kit you see above, so be sure to head to her shop now to take a closer look at everything! I am so thrilled that Vera made the decision to come out of retirement to join our team, and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in the future!
