Miscellaneous Monday – This Week In History 4/18
Happy Monday Sweet Shoppers! It’s the beginning of a new week and I’m excited to share a fun “flashback” blog post with you today!
Almost all of us have the Timehop app on our phones or have a popup in our Facebook feed that shows us our memories over the past few years. It’s always fun to look back and reminisce, isn’t it? I thought it would be fun to look back at this week in history in our very own Sweet Shoppe Gallery. Let’s start with 2007…
I love the arrows pointing out the details in the photo & the journaling that’s attached. She’s darling!
Those flower doodles are so cute and I love them over placed over the photo. The circle mat behind adds a unique touch too.
This is the year I started digital scrapbooking so it was fun to look through the layouts. This little guy has the cutest grin & I like the elements behind the photos.
The square blocks are so fun next to the black & white photo. They balance out nicely.
Love the centered design, wordart, & adorable photo!
I love the huge title with the “photobomb” squeezed in. The journaling in between the photos just works and I love the story behind this!
The big photo and the “everyday” captured…those are my favorites.
She’s a doll! The clouds at the top of the page with the sun peeking through and the rain puddles around the photos…so clever!
I really love seeing the 3 photos showcased separately with the journaling in the middle. I love the scatters and cutouts against the black paper.
LOVE the big photo (& all of those yummy strawberries), those paper strips, with the clusters of hand-drawn elements. Beautiful!
How did you like scrolling through the layouts from the past 10 years? I LOVE seeing how the styles have changed over time. 2007 to 2016 is pretty dramatic! I think it’ll be fun to do some of these with digital scrapbook product, don’t you?
Have a good week everyone!

Love this article. Please, do it again 🙂 It’s so nice to see how styles and trends have changed over the years. The more it neared 2016, the better everything looked 🙂
