Thursday Treats – Font Heaven 9/15
One of this month’s Bingo Challenges is to pair a script font with a typewriter font. Let’s face it… we digital scrapbookers LOVE us some fonts! In fact, we are generally embarrassed about the number of fonts we have installed on our computers. But the right font can change the feel of the page. We recognize that, embrace it {and continue to buy and download cute fonts!} I asked the SugarBabes if they would share their “go-to” script and typewriter fonts with us.
So sit back and enjoy! This post is long AND it’s filled with images because it’s so important to see a font in action. And because there is almost nothing worse than someone sharing THE most gorgeous font and then not telling you where you can find it, everything is linked!
Favorite script type fonts:
Sherly loves the Hefalo Script font at the moment.
Juli suggests: Cursive, Pea Gretchie and Pea Olson
Tracy is using: Shorelines and Bakery
Crystal loves: CK MamaO and Storyteller Light
Jacinda has some amazing picks for page titles: Sandhya Script, Aprillea Script, Master of Break, Salamander Script, Magnolia Sky, Spiffy McGee and Bromello and also script fonts for journaling: Nickainley Script and Always in my Heart
Now on to the typewriter fonts:
Juli uses: Traveling Typewriter, Mom’s Typewriter and 1942 Report
Crystal’s favorites are The Branch and The Dry Ribbon
While I was at dafont.com I found a few more typewriter fonts:
As a fellow font collector/hoarder, I will admit to downloading at least five of these fonts today. I hope you found a fun new favorite, too!
