Featured Designer FWP – Studio Basic Designs
It’s Friday & we’re debuting our newest Featured Designer, Ru of Studio Basic Designs! I kinda feel like she’s been in the spotlight already because she’s busy being the go-to lady for scoops & dips which is awesome! But now the spotlight is all on her and she gets to SHINE! Ru teamed up with Rachel (Captivated Visions) & Megs (Studio Flergs) for this jaw-dropping dip. When we look back on our memories and those standout moments in our lives, more often than not it’s the little things that matter most. Can we just sit here and ogle it a little more please? Their styles together…woah! I love it. They are amazing together. I asked Ru why she invited Rachel & Megs to work with her and what she loves most about working with them. Here’s what she had to say…
Why Megs and Rachel?? Hmmm… I have sooo many collabs in my store! And looots with both of them, so when I stopped to think about who I would ask to be in my featured kit they both were my first choices! They are both super fun to work with and, in some way, I think my style has something similar with what Rachel does and also something similar with what Megs does… So I was super curious about the three of us working together. And, well, I was right: working with them on this project was AWESOME! I am really happy with the final result.
I think the most important thing is that I feel they both respect me and my work as much I respect them and what they do! Working with people who respect you makes everything go easily. Second thing is that I am a SUPER fan of both of them! Let’s be honest, they ROCK!
And as I said, I think our styles match well together! I have the “Destinations” (with Megs) and “Silent Battles” (with Rachel) series and those are between my favorite works, for sure.
So I secretly love (I guess it’s not a secret anymore ha!) that Ru & Rachel scrap with their products so much. And I was so happy to see them both do it with this collab! Between them and the Babes, you’ve got some amazing layout eye candy. Just goes to show how versatile Ru’s kits are. Keep scrolling to see them all.
