Featured Designer 15 Peek – Cindy Schneider
Hello! We’re back to talk with our current Featured Designer, Cindy Schneider! We already know that Cindy’s an amazing designer but did you know that she scrapbooks too? She scraps with every new release of hers(just about…& sometimes more). Her layouts are amazing so I asked her to show us a layout of hers.
Yes, I scrapbook, not as much as I used to, but I love to do it when I have the time! I find I don’t have as many photos as I used to because my kids are getting older and don’t like getting their photos taken all the time, and I don’t get my camera out as much anymore. I still have plenty of older photos to scrap though, it feels like I will never be caught up!
I generally have a harder time scrapping boy pages, but I totally loved the adorable characters in this kit and the fact that it was a birthday kit with no pink in it! I knew right away what photos I wanted to scrap!
I tend to gravitate towards Kristin’s kits and this one was no exception. Every layout I have seen with this kit is beautiful, and I love how this one turned out as well.
I asked her a few more questions…if there were any layouts that jumped out at her from her Designer Inspiration gallery lately? If so, share a page or two and the scrapper with us!
Not only is Wendy an amazing designer, she is also a crazy good scrapper. It is such a treat for me whenever she uses one of my templates, I am amazed by her skills and she makes the templates look fabulous!!
Her pages always jump out at me in the gallery, she does an amazing job with my multiphoto templates, and I love how she scraps everyday photos!
And….just for fun…5 things that Cindy HAS to have on her personal layouts?
- Title – I’m not sure I’ve ever scrapped a page without some sort of title! It looks bare to me without one!
- Journaling of some type – Even if it’s just captions to describe the photos, or what/where/when the photo was taken. I would say about 95% of my layouts have some sort of journaling on them.
- Usually more than one photo! Because I take so many photos when I do have my camera, I tend to have a hard time picking and choosing which ones to include on the layout, so you won’t see very many 1 photo layouts in my gallery!
- Flowers – Yes, even on boy pages! 🙂
- Lots of color! You can definitely tell looking through my gallery that I love color 🙂
Now that we’ve gotten to know Cindy a little better, I get to show off her 15 products that will be on sale next Tuesday! I’ll show them all to you today and then you’ll have a few days to get them into your cart and have it all ready for Tuesday. Are you excited?! It’s a lot to take in so scroll slowly ?
And we can’t just look at her products without seeing some pretty inspiration from the gallery, right?! I wandered through the gallery and found some great inspiration from our members.
