Featured Designer FWP – Kelly Bangs
Happy Friday friends! It’s a new day and we’re debuting a new Featured Designer, Kelly Bangs, who has a wonderful kit for us, Friends Forever. I asked Kelly what inspired her to create Friends Forever and what her design process was. Here’s what she had to say . . .
I was inspired to create Friends Forever because there’s nothing better than a best friend. And we all have lots of photos with our friends, so it will be so fun to make scrapbook pages! I always start with a color pallet. That’s what I’m most picky about. When it’s just right I move on to the illustrations.
I also asked her what she thinks her strength as a designer is and what she would consider her “signature” . . . or what others would recognize her for.
My biggest strength as a designer is my sense of color I think. Color is absolutely my favorite part of the process and I think what makes a kit so amazing. Most illustrations, flowers, word strips are super cute. But if they’re not in a great color pallet, the kit can fall short, in my opinion.
