Featured Designer FWP – Amanda Yi
Happy Friday friends! It’s a new day, and we’re debuting a new Featured Designer! As you know, over the past year and a bit, we’ve had all of our designers in the spotlight as our featured designers, so we’ve started fresh with a new series of featured designer FWP products that will center around the letters of the alphabet! Amanda Yi is up next with the letter “I”, and she has an amazing kit for us, I Is for Imagine! Oh my goodness—this is such an amazing kit! I’m in love with all the delicious doodles Amanda used in her elements! Take a look . . .
I asked Amanda a few questions about this kit and the process she went through to create it. Here’s what she had to say:
Tell us a little bit about the direction you took for your letter of the alphabet.
I went with the concept “imagine” because I think it was a fun task to take on with my fun and unique design style. I was able to doodle some fun stuff for this whimsical theme.
Did you find it difficult coming up with a concept for your letter?
I found it fun coming up with the concept “imagine” because I got some collaborative help from fellow SSD girls, brainstorming ideas for my letter. They were all so inspiring!

Do you have a design soulmate? Someone you can always count on to bring out the best in you as a designer? Who is it and why are you so proud of what the two of you have created together?
The wonderful Wendy van der Ploeg of Wendy P designs and I have built such a close friendship during our time together at the Sweet Shoppe! I am so lucky to call her a friend and am so proud of our ongoing Around The World series!

Are you addicted to anything? What is it and why are you addicted?
Coffee!! I just LOVE coffee!! I usually have about 3 cups a day lately to get me chugging along.
