Featured Designer – River Rose Designs
It’s Friday! How is March treating you so far? It’s snowing in Michigan, so I could take it or leave it. Since it’s Friday, it also means it’s time to introduce our next Featured Designer, Bobbie of River Rose Designs.
Keeping with the festive spirit in mind of our big birthday, our designers decided that a year long celebration of everything that makes our lives special would be the perfect way to keep the party going, “Celebrate YOU!” is the theme that will be inspiring our Featured Designer freebies this year! As you all know, we love to interview our lovely designers so that we can all get to know them a little better. Here we go.
What is your favorite thing to “celebrate”? Is it your birthday? Christmas? Something else?
I love Christmas! I love the decorating, baking, etc. But my favorite part is the family time.
What is your camera of choice? Can we see some of your favorite shots?
I currently use a Canon Rebel XSI that I still have a lot to learn about! My favorite subject at the moment is my (1st) new grandbaby, Hazel.
Do you watch tv or listen to music when you’re designing? Or do you prefer silence?
I cannot stand complete silence and almost always have a fan on. I have done a 180 on how I design. A long time ago when I first started designing I would always play music. These days I play movies or documentaries. I’m not sure why the switch, I guess it’s just background noise either way.
Have you managed to bring any of your real life friends into our world?
I have not but not for lack of trying! I really wish I could pull someone in with me but most people have a hard time understanding exactly what this amazing industry is all about.
