Hello Hello! How are y’all doing? It is time to welcome our next featured designer to the spotlight! Meghan Mullens has been a fixture around SSD forever! Keeping with the festive spirit in mind of our big birthday, our designers decided that a year long celebration of everything that makes our lives special would be the perfect way to keep the party going, “Celebrate YOU!” is the theme that will be inspiring our Featured Designer freebies this year! What is your favorite thing to “celebrate”? Christmas for sure! I LOVE giving gifts and I get so much joy in finding the perfect gift for people.
What do you find most challenging about designing? Trying to come up with unique elements and filler for kits. I feel sometimes my products tend to look the same
What other hobbies do you have? I’ve really gotten back into reading. I don’t have a lot of time for it but I enjoy knocking a few chapters out before bed
Celebrate some of our fantastic community members by sharing a few favorite layouts you’ve seen recently and tell us what you love about those pages!Eve-She’s been on my team and now a babe forever! I love how she showcased the adorable Christmas kit with all the layering and elements.
Gemma-She’s another that’s been on my team for as long as I can remember. Super reliable with a great layout every week. I love how she showcased a black and white photo on a background of bright colors from mine and Amanda’s kit.
Kimberly-The adorable winter photos work so well with my Hello Winter kit. The layers and shadowing are what stood out to me and caught my eye in the gallery. I just love it!
Do you watch tv or listen to music when you’re designing? Or do you prefer silence? I totally need background noise. I usually have a show binging on Netflix. Currently it’s a rewatch of Gilmore Girls.
