Before I show you the amazing things the SugarBabes have done with this kit, let’s find out more about Amanda.

Tell us about your journey with digital scrapbooking… How did you find out about it? Did you start with paper first? How did you get started designing? Where was your first shop? How and when did you end up at Sweet Shoppe Designs?

It all started off with a pregnancy lol. That pregnancy turned into a need-to-capture-all-the-moments kind of thing which ultimately resulted in me finding my love for scrapbooking. However, when I discovered digital scrapbooking I discovered a whole new creative outlet. I began with joining creative teams and getting such amazing mentoring advice from some of the greatest digi scrapbook designers that I now to this day call them my friends! This year is 10 years designing and I still see the changes and how much I’ve grown since I started designing and I believe being at Sweet Shoppe made that possible!

 

How do you stay motivated or deal with the loss of mojo?

Music is a big help! But when I am in a funk and need inspiration to get the juices flowing again I of course take to Pinterest to see what catches my eye and what’s trending.

 

How long does it take you to put a collection together from start to finish?

I used to knock a whole kit out in a day typically but now It does take more time since my products and bundles have gotten a little bigger. It’s okay because the more time put in means more goodies for you guys to enjoy!

 

Do you use your own art in your kits? Show us some of your favorite original illustrations.

I do illustrate a lot of my own designs for my products. Here are some recent ones that stole my heart…

 

 

 

 

 

What’s the last really great book you read or tv show you watched?

I am now a diehard Supernatural fan LOL

 

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher and a Veterinarian. I always wanted to help animals, and I just loved structure and organization and routines (hence wanting to be a teacher too)!
