January 29 – Belly Laugh Day
Today we’re celebrating Belly Laugh Day! The adage that laughter is the best medicine really is true. According to the Mayo Clinic, laughter can increase oxygen to the heart, lungs, and muscles, increase the endorphins that are released by your brain, improve your mood, and reduce physical pain. I don’t think there’s anything better than laughing so hard that tears run down your face, or laughing so much that your belly hurts! Laughter definitely exudes joy and happiness!
