January Sweet Shoutouts

Hello sweet scrappers! Welcome to 2024! As you know, the gallery is bursting at the seams with tons of eye candy. Today we’re kicking off a new monthly blog feature to showcase layouts created by our amazing community members.  We hope the posts offer ideas and inspiration and will provide you with a way to “get to know” your fellow community members through their layouts. By clicking on each image, you will be taken to the gallery where you can leave a little love, because everyone loves to be loved!

So, without further ado, here we go!

Christelle’s page jumped out at me from the gallery, and I was even more blown away once I clicked the larger image of it. She’s used WendyP’s Happy Gnew Year Bundle perfectly.  The clusters she’s created to embellish each of her wonderful photos are flawless! The colors throughout are dreamy.  Her page is a real stunner!

Lisa’s clusters and shadow work make me want to reach out and touch her layout! She’s made Em’s You’ve Got Wings Page Drafts and You’ve Got Wings Bundle shine. I love her choice of using a black and white photo, allowing the colors in the elements to really pop. The word art and paints really bring her page together perfectly!

I love chocochoco’s photoless creative layout! The black background she used makes her page stand out! Note to Self: Let Your Creativity Fly Kit by Kristin Cronin-Barrow and Studio Basic Designs is filled with amazing colors and elements and she has worked magic with them!

I love the way that Miranda has documented photos of furry friend! The colors in Lorrie’s Freezin’ Season bundle certainly meld well with her pictures. She’s skillfully placed her perfectly sized clusters in a very eye appealing manner!  The combination of Lorrie’s kit with Cindy’s Palooza 365 (retired) make for a stunning page!

When I think of Christmas kits, the colors of green and red, gold or silver come to mind. However; Kristin’s a Christmas Village: Tinsel Town Square kit proves that Christmas colors can be as bright and cheery as a rainbow! Kjersti’s page eludes joy and happiness and her photos look amazing with Kristin’s kit.  There are so many details to admire on her page!

Amy’s page is so creative and is a great example to show that not all layouts need to be adorned with lots of clusters. They way that she’s used Wendy’s page protectors – all year round: January is so creative, using one large photo rather than several small ones is ingenious!  This will be a memory page that will fun to look back on years from now.

Iowan’s page really caught my eye – I love the artsy feel she’s created!  She expertly used elements, ephemera, word art and paint from Little Butterfly Wing’s A New Era of Me throughout her page, and the message it delivers is wonderful! The overall design is amazing as well – a smashing way to start the new year!

Meghan Mullens’ Stinkin’ Cute kit (retired) was the perfect choice for Scrappinnewbie to scrap her adorable photos!  I love that the placement and colors of the journaling card. It really anchor s everything together on her page! The mixture of cropped patterned background papers add interest to her page and her journaling in white font against the dark background paper finishes off her page in an impeccable way!

That’s  a wrap for our first Sweet Shoutouts blog post. Be sure to watch the blog for our February post, and until then … happy scrappin’!!
