March Sweet Shoutouts

Hello and welcome to the March edition of Sweet Shoutouts! I’ve spent the last few days looking through the gallery and am completely blown away – there are so many over the top beautiful layouts! I’ve grabbed a handful to showcase in today’s blog, so let’s dive right in!

The use of the floral background on joelsgirl’s page really drew me in! I just love it when using a patterned background works! I think it adds a ton of interest to the layout.  The contrasting solid frames and cropped papers set off the photos perfectly, and the sweet little clusters she has created help anchor each photo and frame. She really made the Sweet Spring Collection by KCB and Flergs and Cindy’s Half Pack 400 shine!

I love the background paper (from Reminisce by River Rose and Studio Basic Designs which is retired) that Immaculeah used. It’s another great example of how well a non-solid background can work!!  The photos are delightful, I love the unique perspective! Would you believe that her layout was created by combining two of Cindy’s templates?  Along with Studio Basic’s Take the Pictures Elements, Everyday Single 47 and Half Pack 415 were used to create her beautiful layout!

The colors in stormchaser’s layout really caught my attention when I was browsing the gallery! The way that she’s used Amanda and Wendy’s Around the World: Poland collection is so clever! It is exactly what I think about when I hear “think outside of the box” when using a kit for an ‘off theme’ page! It’s almost like the kit was designed especially for her wonderful photos!

Check out tammybean04’s darling layout! The way that she’s used the cute little lamb, cloud, bear and owl (Little Dreamer – Bundle by Kristin Cronin Barrow & WendyP Designs bundle) are perfect!  I also love the way she’s highlighted the wording on the journal card with the round frame! Tammybean04’s page is another great example of creating an off-themed page.

This layout that stasianary created is so crisp and clean! The title work is striking!  Her page offers a great example of creative journaling! I love the font she’s used and the way the paragraphs are fully justified!  And of course, all of the white space is divine!!  She used Meagan’s Scholar: English Collection to create her unique page.

And last but not least … I had to add this fabulous page created by our very own Robin Carlton that just popped into the gallery! The smiles in each of the photos really tell the story! Meagan’s Swiftie Collection is a brand-new release and was no doubt, an easy choice for Robin as she scrapped the awesome memories!!

Thank you for taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule and stopping by today! Be sure to watch the blog for next month’s Sweet Shoutouts!

Until next time – happy scrapping dear friends!
