Summer Scrap-A-Thon Shoutouts (Vol 5)
Hello hello friends!! Happy Olympics!! The current scrap-a-thon challenges are based around Olympic games, and I’ve discovered some gold medal worthy pages that I wanted to share with you today. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
To kick off the Olympic themed weeks, Sugarbabe Amie is hosting a Parade of Nations challenge, the goal is to create a page about where you’re from using primarily the colors in your country, state or region’s flag. The gallery is beaming with beautiful patriotic layouts.
Electra’s page really shows here Canadian spirit! She hit the target with her challenge layout!
The page that Scrap-therapy created is stunning! She noted that she used the colors of the French flag and incorporated little symbols scrapping her page based on the entire country of France. She finished strong with her challenge page!!
Here’s another red, white and blue page that is a winner! Angbrey‘s New York page is beautiful and ideal for the challenge!!
Sugarbabe Jaye is hosting the fun Parallel Bar challenge. In this event, your quest is to create a page that shows two distinct parallel lines across your page either vertically or horizontally. Straightforward and easy-peasy!
Erin3 scrapped her pretty layout with double vertical lines, and the journal cards she’s used are wonderful reminders for each of us!!
Moving on to Sugarbabe Angie’s Archery challenge, to hit a bullseye, you will need to create a layout with a large archery-style target background where your photos and elements hit the bullseye, clustered tightly in the center of the page.
Romajo’s layout is absolutely befitting for the challenge!! Cindy’s Half Pack template was a perfect choice!!
Chai’s challenge page is podium worthy, for sure!! She hit the target 100%!!
You don’t need big muscles to complete Sugarbabe LeeAndra’s Weightlifting challenge, but you will need to make sure the “weight” of your layout is at the top of your page.
Check out Im44west’s interruption of the fun challenge! Her page is precisely what the challenge called for!
Bumblebeee flexed her muscles and created this winning page!
It’s time to get into the pool with Sugarbabe Eve’s Swimming challenge. Her challenge offers a few different options to choose from.
Freestyle: Scrap anything you like
Butterfly: Scrap a page with tons of butterflies
Backstroke: Scrap a layout with an obvious edit or erasure
Breaststroke: Be bold and scrap a sexy selfie!
So let’s dive in … Leablahblah performed the breaststroke and scrapped this beautiful wedding page
Immaculeah medaled with the butterfly stroke with her beautiful page.
That’s a wrap for today’s post, thanks for stopping by! Keep those challenge layouts coming, and until next time … happy scrapping!!
