Greetings sweet scrappers!! To say I’m shocked at how quickly October has gone by is an understatement!! It is finally beginning to feel a little bit like fall here in far-northern Illinois and right now; while browsing the gallery and writing this blog, I am surrounded by the yummy aroma of a scrumptious pumpkin spice candle. So with that thought in mind, let’s hop right into this month’s inspiring pages with a beautiful fall layout.

Firstly, KCB’s Hey There Pumpkin is right up there with one of my very faves, and scrappinnewbie has really made the kit glow! The patterned papers that she’s used meld perfectly together and the orange flowers really make the orange pumpkins in her fun photos pop! Using Amber’s Layered Template certainly was a perfect choice! I just love the fall vibes!

Next up is LisaMT’s jaw-dropping nature page! Her layering and shadowing skills are exquisite, giving her page lots of depth. I love the little vignette she’s created with the hiking great, shoes and backpack! It sounds like the hiking adventure was one to remember. Em’s Adventure Walk in tandem with her Memory Organiser templates was certainly a winning combination!

I could not help but smile when I came across shunnstergirl’s sweet and silly page! I can close my eyes and just imagine the laughs and giggles that were had as they “posed” for each selfie!! The last photo is complete sweetness overload! What a beautiful memory page, because these kinds of special moments are certainly fleeting, at best!! Willie and Ru’s Made of Stars collection was made for these photos!!

Nest up is amyjcas’s touching, photoless page. The beautiful font really drew me in and once I read the heartwarming letter she’s written to her granddaughter, I was a bit teared up! The soft, delicate colors throughout the layout really lend well with the overall ‘theme’ of the page. Amy’s words flow over the page flawlessly. Truely a treasure.

Creative Chronicles: Our Perfect Place Bundle by Little Butterfly Wings & Studio Basic

Look at that beautiful smile on Tammybean’s page! I couldn’t help but smile when I saw her page and the way she’s rocked Em’s a Story to Tell kit and template is superb!! The layers she’s created are dreamy and the use of the grungy background paper along with the paint splatters under the elements and photo really pull everything together nicely.

Here’s another fun fall page – this one created by aussiegirl. The first thing that caught my eye were the patterned papers used to create the title. I love that the series of photos tell the story of the day and I love her less is more approach with the sweet little clusters she has created. Wendy’s All year Round: October could not have been a better choice for her layout.

Last, but certainly not least, we have stormchaser’s cool school layout. Outdoor school? I’m sure the majority of kiddos today would say “yes, please”!! How fun! I love the photo the teacher took! (And I’m glad that the day’s wardrobe matches Kelly’s School Subject bundle perfectly -lol). Love the school ellies tucked under the layered photos. The placement of the string and staples adds interest to her marvelous page. Cindy’s Half Pack 430 templates seemed like a no-brainer! I’m giving stormchaser’s page an A++!!
