Valentine Stickers Hybrid Project

Hello sweet scrappers!

Check out these sweet little Valentine stickers I created using ephemera from Sending My Love and A Grand Love by The Nifty Pixel and A Kiss Is Still A Kiss and Z Is For Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah by Simple Pleasures by Jennifer Fehr.  They will be part of the Valentine goodie basket I will give to our youngest granddaughter. I used my Cricut Maker to create them and today I wanted to share with you how quick and easy the project is!!

Last year, Cricut added the print then cut Create Sticker feature to Design Space, and honestly, it makes creating stickers a breeze!!

Here’s a quick recap on how it’s done:

Upload your images into Design Space: Highlight your image and click the “Create Sticker” option.

Pop ups will appear with the following choices: Choose between die or kiss cut.

Decide on the size and color of the border for your stickers (e.g., thin white border, which is what I used).

Click apply and you’ll see that your images are perfectly centered inside of the borders.

Next click Make and follow the instructions provided including printing and cutting.

A few notes:

Deselect “Add bleed” and select “Use system dialog” for better control over image quality and paper type in your printer settings.

Setting the material base to the type that’s compatible with your media is also essential for achieving the perfect cut. I used Cricut’s Printable Waterproof Sticker Paper for my project.

Now it’s time to sit back and let your Cricut do the work!

The versatility of goodies from the shoppe provide endless opportunities for creativity. With such a wide array of elements, ephemera, and journal cards, (and don’t’ forget about sticker collections) your imagination can run wild!

I hope you’ve gathered a little inspiration and ideas from today’s post. I would love to see stickers you’ve created, so be sure to share them in your gallery!!

Thanks for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting!!

Jill
