Happy Friday Sweet Shoppers, and Happy Boxing Day! I always believed that Boxing Day was named that because that’s the day people ‘box up’ their gifts they didn’t want and took them back to the store. But I found out recently that it actually originated in 17th century England, where people ‘Boxed up’ leftovers and other gifts for their servants or the poor the day after Christmas. I thought that was a neat fact, and a much better origin story!

Today I get to introduce you to another one of our fabulous designers, Blagovesta Gosheva. Blagovesta’s got a vibrant, playful style that blends cheerful colour palettes, whimsical elements, and everyday themes in her kits, which are always super relatable. She has been a staple here at the Sweet Shoppe for over 10 years and she makes storytelling so much easier with her jam-packed kits, which you can find in any theme imaginable!
