Happy Friday Sweet Shoppers! It’s the last Friday of the month, can you believe August is nearly over? My kiddos start school next week, so this weekend we’re doing the last minute things that we need to get for school. While I’m sad summer is coming to a close, I’m excited to have the routine that fall brings, with the return to school.

And now check out the preview of Cindy’s sale! I asked the SugarBabes to scrap a brand new page with their favourite product from Cindy’s store and they were so creative with their choices!

Charlene chose Cindy’s Layered Templates – Bold Backgrounds Bundle 3 and Cindy’s Layered Templates – Creative Clusters Bundle 3 + FWP by Cindy Schneider: I can’t get enough of Cindy’s Bold Backgrounds. They are so fun to use and so versatile. You can fill the spots with solid papers or pick your favorite patterned ones. You can go soft and subtle or bright and bold with your paper choices. Cindy has such a great variety of Bold Background designs to choose from. Complimenting the Bold Backgrounds (and making a layout come together quickly and easily) are the Creative Clusters. They can stand alone, but I do love to pair them with the Bold Backgrounds.

Ally’s fave is Cindy’s Layered Templates – Half Pack 289: Photo Focus 109: I love ALL of Cindy’s templates, but the Photo Focus templates are amazing when I have a photo I want to feature front and center. I like using a series of photos for these templates and putting the “best” one in the large photo spot. I like how these pages look in my albums, sprinkled in amongst the pocket pages and pages with lots of smaller photos everywhere.

Evelyn decided on Builder Blocks Background Set 4 and Builder Blocks Bundle 4: I fell in love with the building blocks sets the first time I ever saw them! Each block is its own work of art and each block is so much fun to work with! We took a vacation trip to Washington DC and I was so excited to use the background set with this amazing bundle of blocks to scrap those photos. The page I made has blocks from both template sets in bundle 4.

Sarah’s fave is Cindy’s Layered Templates – Photo Palooza 672: I seriously LOVE Cindy’s photo palooza templates. She has tons of them in her shop and picking just one to showcase was just mission impossible. So much gorgeousness. Why do I love them and use them so much? I always take way too many photos and I have a hard time narrowing them down. Cindy‘s Photo Palooza templates allow me to scrap lots of photos in a single page without making my page look too busy.

Sherly decided to play with Double the Fun No.33: I am especially a fan of Cindy’s double page templates. I usually have a lot of holiday/event photos to scrap with and she makes scrapping them all at once with those double page templates quickly. I don’t have to think about composition & how to embellish them, because Cindy’s templates help me do that, and I always love the results, I get to have precious, meaningful memories scrapped beautifully in a flash!

Suzanne played with Cindy’s Layered Templates – Trio Pack 98: Just for Journaling 30: I often find that I want to tell a story that I don’t have photos for and, for these, I am drawn to journaling focused templates, which don’t necessarily need a photo to fit. For this page, I chose this wonderful trio pack which features fun shapes and paper piecing and which also has the shaped journaling spaces to fit (always a bonus!). I love that there is so much room to tell the story but the journaling is shaped and broken into sections so that it is more visually interesting than one big rectangular block would be.
