Thursday Treats – Grandparents Day 9/10
It’s been a few years since my children were small enough to celebrate “Grandparents Day”, officially on Sunday September 13th this year, with visits from their grandparents at school. They were lucky that all of their grandparents were (and still are) just about an hour away so they could see them often. I grew up next door to one set of grandparents and only about 20 minutes away from the other set. When my oldest was a toddler, my grandmother visited us every day, usually at nap time 😉 I spent some time this holiday weekend (Labor Day here in the U.S.) scanning some heritage photos of my own grandparents and their families, thinking of them and missing them.
So I thought it might be nice to share some inspiration, both for possible kits to use and some layout “eye candy”, to scrap about the grandparents in our lives:
