Miscellaneous Monday – Celebration of Life Day
Happy Monday, everyone! How did the weekend treat you? We finally got some snow here in my neck of the woods, but of course, it’s mostly melted already. This winter has been pretty strange. But, for the most part, it was a relaxing weekend with my family with not very many obligations and plenty of time to hang out and enjoy being together . . . just the way I like it.
If you’re like me, you love those days when you don’t have any pressing appointments or a super long “to do” list (or a day when you’re able to ignore your list ?). So, I thought it was just perfect when I found out that today is Celebration of Life Day.
Celebration Of Life Day is when we take a step back and truly appreciate our children and grandchildren. Granted, some may do this on an everyday basis, but it’s an opportunity to look at our young ones’ lives from a different angle, think about what it is that makes them truly special, and of course, to lavish treats upon them if we so wish, be it an ice cream or a trip to Disneyland.
Today’s the day to slow down, spend some time with your kids or grandkids (or nieces/nephews, brothers/sisters, parents, etc.), and just enjoy the little things in life. I looked through the Shoppe for products that celebrate family and life’s little moments. Take a look at the awesome stuff I found:
So many amazing goodies!! Be sure to take some time today and spend it with your kids or other family members and make some new memories!! And, of course, don’t forget to scrap those memories and share them with all of us.
