Featured Babe – Jacq Delfin

Happy December Sweet Shoppers! I hope you all are enjoying the Portfolio this month and today we have one more challenge for you featuring one of our long time Babes Jacq! (purple_colourz) I think Jacq and I started digi around the same time…I know I can remember being a fan of hers forever. I love her use of color and great layout design on her pages.

Here’s a little more to help us get to know Jacq better:

I’m from Singapore, a small country in Asia. I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for almost five years now. A mom to an adorable four year old and currently twenty weeks pregnant with my second child. When I’m not scrapping I enjoy reading books, doing fun activities with my little girl and hang out with other SAHM like me. I also love watching movies with my family.

I’ve been scrapping since October 2005. I’m currently using Photoshop CS2 to scrap my pages.

How long have you been a babe?

I became a babe in 2008 and can tell you I was really ecstatic when I got the PM from Robin, I literally stayed up until wee hours of the morning refreshing my inbox to check for new messages. I feel really honored to be part of a great community of talented designers and scrappers.

What is the most challenging part of scrapping for you?

I struggle with journaling the most when I’m making a layout. I want my pages to mean something, tell a story and a lot of times it is difficult to do just that.

What is your favorite color scheme to work with?

PINK. I have a daughter so I’m drawn so pink and girly layouts most of the time.

Do you have any other hobbies besides scrapping?

I love reading books, watching movies and my favorite TV shows when I’m not scrapping.

Here are 3 of Jacq’s favorite layouts:

I just love this photo of me and my daughter. I feel blessed and proud to be a mom to this adorable little girl and this is the layout that shows just that.

One of my favorite layout simply because I’ve documented the first year of my daughter’s life through photos and journaling.
